Account Settings

Manage your PhotoWeather account settings, preferences, and subscription details.

Settings Overview

Access your settings through User Profile in your dashboard:

• Account information - Email, password, timezone, and measurement units
• Subscription status - Current plan and usage limits
• Account security - Password changes and account deletion

Profile Settings

Account Information

• Update your email address and password
• Change measurement units (Metric/Imperial)
• Set your timezone for accurate sunrise/sunset times

Subscription Status

• View your current plan (Free, Pro)
• Monitor location and rule usage against plan limits
• Check subscription expiration dates

Account Actions

Security

• Change Password - Update your account password
• Delete Account - Permanently remove your PhotoWeather account

Delete Account

To permanently delete your PhotoWeather account:

1. Open Settings from your dashboard
2. Go to the Delete Account section
3. Type DELETE to confirm you understand this action is permanent
4. Enter your current account password
5. Confirm the deletion

When you initiate deletion, you receive a confirmation email with a link to complete the process. After your account has been deleted, you receive a final confirmation email to the account’s email address for security and audit purposes. Your account is permanently removed and you are logged out of the app.
