Clear, calm nights following periods of humidity create heavy hoar frost deposits that coat everything in ice crystals. Alpine waterfalls freeze into spectacular ice sculptures, traditional chalets become fairy-tale scenes, and frozen mountain lakes offer mirror-like surfaces reflecting frost-covered peaks.

  • Frozen waterfalls - Spectacular ice formations at Lauterbrunnen and other waterfall locations
